Maggi celebrates Jae Festival this year more special than ever “Maggi 4-region Jae menus” with mothers from 4 regions Superstar Bee Namthip and Celebrated Chef Gigg Kamol reveal their tasty and inspiring Jae recipe

Jae Festival is approaching. Maggi, flavor champion every household needs, held a workshop “Maggi 4-region Jae menus” where Maggi invited mothers from 4 regions of Thailand to take part in the workshop. Superstar Bee Namthip Jongrachatawiboon, aka Aruna from series Aruna2019, and Celebrated Chef Gigg Kamol Chobdee-ngam, winner of Iron Chef Thailand, demonstrated their tasty and inspiring Jae Menus

Miss Pojana Choosilp, Food Products Business Manager, Nestlé (Thai) Ltd. said “For this ‘Maggi 4-region Jae menus’ workshop, Maggi was inspired by favorite dishes from 4 regions of Thailand along with Maggi’s intention to inspire mothers and everyone who loves to cook to have inspiration to be creative and enjoy creating delicious and healthy menus. Celebrated Chef Gigg Kamol Chobdee-ngam, winner of Iron Chef Thailand demonstrated his special Jae recipe “Deep fried tofu with mixed mushroom filling” while Superstar Bee Namthip Jongrachatawiboon got to be his assistant. Chef Gigg reveals the secret of this menu “Selecting fresh ingredients is the key to cooking. For Deep fried tofu with mixed mushroom filling, the key ingredients are tofu and mushrooms. Tofu must be creamy white and in a good shape. The mushrooms we use today is Champignon and Enokitake. You can change them to any kind of mushroom you prefer. We added tasty flavor with Maggi, white pepper, a little sugar. Just deep fry the tofu just for a short while, so that it does not become greasy. And now, you get the new tasty and inspiring Jae Menu.”

In the event, there were creation of 4-region Jae menus with 2 Maggi Cooking sauce products: Maggi Cooking Sauce and Maggi Cooking Sauce Intense Formula. Jae Somtam, Jae Nam Prik Ong, Jae Klua Kling, and Jae Choochee Tufu were created for The Northeastern, Northern, Southern, and The Central regions. Chef Gigg also gave out some tips to the participants from every region “In each region, ingredients and cooking techniques are different. When we make some change or twist the recipe from regular menus to Jae menus using new ingredients and Maggi Jae Cooking Sauce, we will enjoy the creation of our own Jae Menus.
